You can buy the manuals at the dealer, there are around 10 in the set I think, and they are very expensive, dont know how much your looking ot spend.

I don't really care. I'm changing my flywheel and clutch, I don't really want to do it with out a manual.

I got the Chilton's that they make for Subarus up to 1996, after that I don't think anyone makes a manual like that. If you need it for changing the clutch just get the 1996 one. Most Subaru components are very similar for different model years, and that will show you what you are looking for.

Subaru sells their manuals seperately. If you are just going to work on the Tranny and such, you only need to buy the Tranny Manual, which is # 5 in the series (It's sitting on my lap as I write this). It costs like 30 dollars and is Much more comprehensive then the 85-96 manual you get from the auto parts store.

Of course if you want ALL the manuals, then get them from SubaruParts.com they seem to be the best price for a packaged deal. I got mine from the dealer since I only wanted certain manuals when I did my WRX/RS conversion last year, plus I needed manuals for both cars and did not want to spend $800 for the complete set of both.

Best advice is go down to your local Suby Dealer and go into the service department and ask to see their manuals for you specific car, see which ones you want/need and then order them from parts department. Simple as that.

Cheers

some dealerships are pretty cool about manuals. You might be able to go in and make copies of just them few pages you need. good luck!
