Iam upgrading my turbo next week sooooo iam going to be pulling out my stock VF39 out of my car and putting it up for sale. i have a 04' sti with about 31k miles on it. my car has never been tuned only mods i have are catback and intake as of right now. iam taking offers, ne further questions feel free to hit me up

yeaaaah its still in the car.... as soon as i have a day off i was gonna take it out. just out of curiosity.... would i be able to spot a crack or would i have to do some t ype of test to check it out?

 

you can tell. When you pull it off, look at the exhaust exit area. You'll see the side of the hot side turbine, as well as the flap for the wastegate. Undo the pin holding it down, and open the flap. Look all around the little circular wastegate port, and see if you can see a crack.

there are some people that are willing to buy cracked ones, but if it's cracked, it won't sell for nearly as much.

how are your boost levels? If you're still able to maintain boost at a good level, it should be aight

 

ball park price ranges? when i drive the car it feels pretty damn good seems like its holding boost good to.... buuuut it will be taken out tomrrow and well see
