20+ PS3's at Best Buy in Dublin 6/14/07
I was at Best Buy in Dublin earlier this morning to set up a Toshiba End-cap when i noticed a bunch of PS3's Stacked up in the middle of the store. They had a least 20 of them just sitting there with a price tag on top. I know for sure they had the PS3's with the silver finish in front but i dunno about the other model because i didn't take a good look at them. Didn't look at the price either because i don't really care about them but i just wanted to let you guys know.

every big retailer i go to has at least one PS3 on the shelf. Its not just the box because it was behind a glass, locked cabinet. there's just not a demand for them. now, if there's a pallet of Wii's anywhere, let us know.

Wow 20 units?!!! That's 10 more units than there are games written for that console. I'm sooooo disappointed with the PS3 launch. No games, no online... grrrr... waiting for the new XBOX.
I think an industry analyst said it best, "The Playstation 3 is fourth in a three console field".
Saw a huge display of them out in the open at Costco. Must have been 15 of them out there. $599 (i think) bundled with Metalstorm.

The PS3 will pwn in a year or two according to all of the geeky game analysts, but right now it's suckin pretty bad.
I've had my Wii since the launch and I would not trade it for a PS3 at this point.

I think the price will drop here in the US. It did drop in Europe because they are no longer using the emotion chip. So i'm going to wait for the price drop here

It's going to drop a lot less than $500.
Look at PSP, it dropped from $249 to what? $169? at that ratio, PS3 is going to be priced at aroudn $350? haha (yea right).
