Hey everyone. I remember someone posting a while back in Hawaii (on Oahu I believe) who owned an SVX. Anyways if your out there hit me up. My SVX will be there beginning of June or Late this month and I'd like to know where you've had your car worked on. I hear its not a popular car out there and for any maintanence I can't do myself I need a good mechanic who knows what they're dealing with. I'll be in K Bay Oahu. So wherever you are please reply to this thread or PM me!!!

 

Hey there. It was me that posted a while back. It's good to see you're coming soon. I don't feel so alone now hehe. Alot of the servicing I do myself. For certain parts I do have someone that works at Subaru that could help out with pricing. But over all, I just stay in contact with the SVX network family for specialty parts and advice. Do you go on the SVX network?

hehe, yups. I stop trusting the techs (mainly at waipahu) when I just bought my SVX and I wanted them to change a bushing. The manager asked what make is the SVX, hmmmm.

 

haha what make is the SVX...manager working sure knows his stuff. Hey you were selling the SVX on forums right? Was hoping my friend would buy um but I guess my tastes in cars don't match up to his.

 

Yes I go to the network too. I use the same screen name on all car websites I go to so its easy to find me. I can do simple stuff to my car, but I was hoping to get myy lil paws on a supercharger. There is one left from the last batch, but the new and improved supercgarger requirs a different hood to fit it in there and they havn't designed it yet so we'll see what it looks like, but either way I prolly couldn't do that myself....actually you never know, but I for suyre can't do a manual swap and I will need help with that. Does your SVX have any mods?
