Lots of empty promises, lots of scattered ideas...
I need input. I need leaders... I know some of you are natural born leaders, so if you can spare some time and help me with this, please do so. You're helping out the community, and you will be compensated for your efforts in some for or another (Zoeb will give you a BJ).
I don't want people who think they can do it... I want people who KNOW they can do it (Like wrx ish, krinkov, winglesswonder, etc). People who are reliable, and people who will get the job done.
It's not even really a job... It's a fun event for everyone... We are the ones who make it happen... That in itself is a reward enough... To see everyone happy and having a good time. That's what its all about.
I want to form a committee with a core group of members that will plan and execute this event flawlessly. This involves research, calling people, coordination, and of course, reliability. If I can't rely on you, you're worthless. (not to sound harsh, but its true).
I would like to hold a meeting with the said leaders sometime in the near future to discuss this... I don't take this event lightly... It's a BIG deal... A lot is at stake. So please, if you don't think you have what it takes, don't volunteer. That has been the fatal flaw of past events... People who don't follow through (some do excellent work, and you know who you are), but others, not so much.
This is the thread where we form our committee.
The meetings will be held in a central location for everyone. I'm in Fremont.

committee.......why does that word sound so familiar???
Refer to all previous threads about this for the last 3 years. I'd be happy to help but I'm not gonna chase anyone down. I'd like to see the meet go to the next level and this is as good a time as any with the change of venue and what not.

I was looking for the thread about where the next "hammy" would be a week ago and didnt find it after 30 minutes of looking. keep us updated on what you need and if you need any small errands or stuff that members with little time could do.. possibly designs, banners, shirts, stuff like that. im sure some ppl on here are good with photoshop and have some art skills.
