Yesterday I ran up against one of those electric blue WRX's while merging onto the freeway. I first noticed him while we were on a side street -- bronze ProDrive rims, exhaust, lowered a little. Looked real good. The next time I noticed him was when I was getting on the onramp and happened to glance in my rearview mirror and saw him in my trunk. I think I was in 2nd gear at the time, so I punched it, and so did he. Ran up through the middle of 3rd and he was a few lengths back -- wasn't sure he was racing, but he switched lanes and came charging up toward me. Before he could do a fly-by on me, I got back in the gas and and laid into it hard up til 5th gear and put even more land between us.

Not sure if you're on this board Dustin, but it was good meeting you. Nice car too. I forgot to ask you about your mods! Sorry I couldn't have put on a better show. I'm still down about 340-350hp from before I cracked my block. Stock Honda sleeves don't like ~570hp to the wheels apparently :( Come on out to Sam's this weekend and we can go kill some V8's :)

Where are you located Cheesefrog? I want to watch out so I don't try to race you. I found a video of you racing a Viper and damn your car is quick. What all is done to your car?

I'm in Houston right now. My car has a B18B (non-VTEC) motor out of an Integra. Turbocharged of course. As the modifications progress, I'm afraid I may have to find a daily driver since my Civic is becoming less user friendly as the line on the dyno charts get higher and higher. I'm actually looking into a new STi, but I want to hold off until the final verdict is out on them.
