SF Japantown - J's Gathering - MY PICS ARE UP - 56K NO WAY! WARNING!
Thanks to Jonathan and all of the brothers of JSJbrothers.com and their always awesome coverage of our events and all the other events in Nor-Cal and So-Cal! JSJ Brothers is now our (JDM Theory) official photographer for all our events! Congrats to you guys and many many thanks for your time and dedication to get these pictures up so others can enjoy!
My 2 Cents of the show – I think that this past Jan 07 gathering is by far our best gathering so far! So many new faces and West Coast (Washington, Nevada, Oregon, Eureka, Humboldt County and of course…..So-Cal support! I was also glad to see a more of a mix of car makes and models this year. In the past, the Acura/Honda crowd has dominated the attendance at the shows. Recently the AWD’s showed their presence and this year, we had the OLD SCHOOL FLAVOR taking their turn. I only posted a few of the old school cars, but ask around, there was so many 510’s, Mangos, Starlets, and AE86’s more so than any year.
Anyway, I learned a lot this year. What to do next year, what not to do, who to definitely ask back and who to NEVER NEVER EVER ask back or work with = /
All in all, we look forward to our next events in April 07 (J-town Cherry Blossom Festival – small display of 50 cars during the festival) , May 07 (Asian Heritage Fair- Downtown SF- 100 car display during the parade and festival) , and of course our J’s Car Festa (Track & Drift Day/Gathering) sometime in June or July which should be our largest show to date with 500+ cars!
