next photoshoot

okay everyone, thought you might also enjoy some shots from the photoshoot we did at this last Natomas meet. didn't have as big a turn-out as we'd hoped (and some people got impatient and left before we took any snaps!), but it's cool.

i took everyone's advice and feedback from the last photoshoot thread to heart, and i hope it shows.

nice job though... u should try to not cut off the cars in the picture though, like ur pictures that have 85% of the car in them and such

actually most of that was done on purpose. i did one set just shooting each car individually down the line, but unfortunately a lot of them came out hella blurry. and some of them, well the cars were just too close together to really do anything about it.

and then of course there were the occaisional few where i did that on purpose just to screw with the focal points on the shot!

you using a tripod??

if you are try getting a remote shutter for your camera so you don't get the initial camera shake when u press the button

yeah i've been thinking about that. what i've been trying to do is just hold down on the camera as i press the button, but i think in the end i'm just going to have to get a better tripod. the one i have is pretty good, but there's always room for improvement.

ya a good tripod is a must for night shots... i had a ghetto one and about every other shot was blurry because of it

I hate the tripods that just move around on their own. you have to chase them down and bolt them down or they will just keep running away.
