arrived! :D fit and finish is pretty good. the M6 screw that came with the package is too short. I bought a longer screw.

that's about the only difficulty i had with the install.
now i need to think of ways to make the screw hard to take off
from those theives... hehehe. :p

I'm interested in one of those hood scoops - WR Blue Pearl . What all comes with it? Hardware? Also, will the rubber gasket that mounts to the stock scoop that mates up to the intercooler work with this larger scoop, or does it come with a new one? Any special instructions or precautions?

I received my painted STi hood scoop from MPJ Performance. It came with attached studs and foam rubber seals attached.

Ordered last week, but had to wait while scoop was painted to match car color. Shipped via USPS Priority Mail 28-Jan-2003, arrived 30-Jan-2003 (today!). Looks good, a couple of very minute blemishes in the paint, but good enough for government work. ;)

I'm letting the paint cure for a few days indoors before installation.

Do you still have the midnite Black Sti Scoops available? How much for it picked up and installed?

Piper - We are out of the splitters for the time being, we some replica Zerosports one's that do the job fairly well.

MidniteBlakRex - We still have plenty of the MBP available. You are more than welcome to come by and pick one up for $175 we're install it for $10.

What is the difference between the STI fog light covers and the replicas other than cost? I have a Silver WRX (675 miles in the ODO) and getting the STI hoodscoop and the STi Covers was the first thing I wanted to change! Do you have the replica's on your car? (I've seen the pictures BTW, your ride looks mean with the limited front spoiler... :) Are they still available in WRX Silver?
