Red face Autometer cluster mount or single pod?

All I really wanted was a single 52mm defi boost gauge for my 2006 WRX. But I'm getting held up on were the heck to put this thing. I usually don't ask questions like this but after searching around for some good alternative ideas....I'm stuck. Any suggestions??

1. I already have the defi boost gauge and control box. I also have the defi gauge cup and mount fitting; so I was originally going to mount this on the steering column. Probably on the right side just above & behind the wiper lever. Then put the control box inside the center console cavity.

2. But now I'm wondering if the Autometer Instrument Cluster Benzel will fit my 2006 (I'm betting it will) and look alittle cleaner of an install? I have no idea if this autometer benzel even looks decent. I also figure that on a 2006 the left pod will cover some of the ext. temp display. I also figure the plastic Autometer uses can probably be heated, reshaped, and trimmed to fit. But I'll also have another hole for another gauge I really don't need???
