As you can see, I have done SOOOO many performance mods!!!
I would like to get some lightened pulleys, but not smaller diameter. I want to lose the weight but not change belts. And when the clutch goes, I will put in a lightened flywheel and better clutch... Oh, and when the motor goes, I will transplant it with the new 2.5l turbo, but hopefully that's at least another 175,000 miles away!!!

Hello everybody. I have a 97 Legacy 2.5GT in sweet condition. I just installed an air intake system from Rallitek. Car won't start cold without a little gas and idles a little low w/ AC on. My old intake system had a larger hose going to the cars idle bypass. I've had to step it down considerably to adapt to the new intake tube.. Do i need to tune something, machine the new intake tube, is my MAF sensor shot?
BTW. is there anyway to access the cars stock chip with a laptop and SW or something?

I saw that u got the underdriven pulley installed....any performance gain??...i bought one and haven't install it yet...my stupid bro dropped it and chipped a little bit of it....would that be ok??..as long as it doesnt interfer with the belt right?...anyway thankyou for ur time!...

Well,
The underdrive pulley was one of the very first mods I put on the car. I put the pulley, and intake and spark plug wires on at the same time....So, I DID notice quite a difference, but I don't know how much the pulley actually contributed.

My first suggestion would be to get a catback exhaust, as your car doesn't have a down-pipe, unless you have a turbo kit that you didn't post that is. ;)

I traded in my '04 mt WRX wagon for a '05 5mt Legacy GT wagon and I love it. So far I added:

On a wagon, the biggest improvement will come with the rear brace. On my 93 Touring Wagon, it was a very pronounced change in cornering. On newer models, like my 00, the change wouldn't be as much because of the newer chassis, but there's almost always room for improvement.

Sorry for the late reply. Carbon fibre bonnet supplied by a company called carsonracing they supply carbon bonnets for legacys wrxs & foresters. So months back I added a version 8 carbon scoop & eye lids & replaced my seats as well.
