I will soon be purchasing ssr type-c rs 18x8.5 +49 offset for my 05 sti. The car is on cobb springs which are similar to stock diameter. I am wondering if 255 35 18 will rub on the inner (spring) or outer. My problem is that the previous ower put 17x8.5 +35 offset weds sa-90 with a falken 115 tires at the size of 245 40. Needless to say the rubbed once the car was dropped. They actually barely touch the outer lip in a bumpy hard corner. Both sides will rub if pushed hard and its only the rears. please let me know if my tire choice will work and all you expieriences. Thx!!! ps. weds will be for sale if I chose these w/t setup. I heard they fit evos.
