Damaged Carbon Fiber Hood?

Hey guys,
I just recieved my new Seibon CF hood last night. I was assured that paying the extra $145 in shipping that I would recieve a non damaged package and I was okay with that. Well, the front edge of the hood is chipped and cracked and I am not really counting on the vendor to do anything, since their lack of communication and customer service has been unacceptable to such a high degree I can't even begin to tell you. Oh yeah, it took 3 weeks for the hood to get here from LA to San Fran! Do you guys know anyone in or around the Nor Cal that specializes in carbon fiber repairs? Any suggestions welcomed.

I'd rather not say actually, it's not fair to the vendor. I'm not here to bring anyone down.

did your shipping cost include some kind of insurance? maybe have the shipping company cover the damage and get a new hood from the vendor? sorry, i don't know anyone in nor cal that repairs CF stuff. Maybe just call your local body shop and see if they can refer you to someone? Good luck!

I think you should tell us who the vendor is. Businesses that have poor service do not deserve our business.

As a fellow i-Clubber, I think it would be nice to get the heads-up about poor service from another club member, rather than to get bent-over the parts counter by the same vendor because I wasn't informed.
