WTB; TIRES! Just the tires, no rims! for 18x8

Hey guys,

Just testing the waters to see if i can pick up a good set of used tires for my new rims. My rims are 18x8, let me know what you got. No holes, cracks, good tread, the normal.

Thanks

Will

those are closest diameter wise, but running 235/40s is fine without any rubbing issues

wider tires=better (in most cases)

OOOO so like 225s are skinnier tires, like there is less rubber showing? And 235s have a little more rubber so the ride will be better?

while 235 is wider than 225, its the 35 and 40 that determines how tall the sidewall is. so a 40 tire will be a little taller than a 35, and you will see slightly more sidewall.

o okay, yeah im new to tires, hence why i asked the dealer what tires i should buy for the rims.

So i guess just throw up what you have for sale for a 18x8 rim and i will go from there!

actually the middle # (35 or 40 or w/e) is a percentage of the first # (225 or 235 or w/e)

235/40/18's FTW. Will, FYI my Kumho MX's were about $600 shipped... I'm not sure what your budget is but used 18's will definitely be tougher to find around here than 17's.
