Well if you want power and a big turbo go with perrin GT35R with 720cc or bigger injectors.
I am running 850cc right now and i am going to get my turbo hopfully soon, but with the set up i have now with a tune i should run right around 500whp on stock internals.

Get a 20g or FP green turbo. Unless your gunna use a stage 2 block with upgraded cams, those turbo's are plenty big and will give you loads of top end. 700cc+ injectors, Walbro pump, STI intercooler, and Accessport, and you'll be making very good numbers.

well you gotta realize since u have a 2.5 liter motor just like the sti, I would say you should get the fp red turbo. It's a lot better then the green plus everyone I know who has it gets a lot of power from it. Since your in sj Mike has tuned some of my friends cars with fp reds one of them gets 360whp from the gruppe-s dyno on his 06 sti. Thats good stuff

Fp red is for a race car, Fp green is somewhat streetable in comparison, but do w.e you want.

well i would like to get an fp red but i dont want to go fmic...the reason for this is that it really attracts cops and once they see the fmic thats like an automatic pull over for me because subarus already dont come fmic....

Isn't the Enterprise nuke powered? Maybe a turbine from the catapults?

Lots of options now:

Stock injectors, walbro fuel pump and upgraded TMIC=TD06H-FP20G (8cm)
720+cc injectors, wlabro fuel pump and upgraded TMIC=FP Green (8cm)

Anything bigger than a Green then you need to go with a FMIC. Actually, to maximize a Green you should have a FMIC but there are plenty of ppl who run Greens with TMIC and have good success (eg. Mark G stock TMIC Green 11.7 1/4 mile).

Thread moved from Aftermarket Turbo forum, which caters to turbo setups added to factory NA (normally-aspirated) engines.

EDIT: I've since modifed the Aftermarket Turbo sub-forum description. It was a bit vague so I could understand the confusion.

no, no you don't....Ultimate Racing's GT35R kit is designed to work with stock or aftermarket TMIC(preferrably aftermarket, big aftermarket). I will be running a UR GT30R thru my Hyperflow TMIC. Many have ran UR's GT35R thru a TMIC with good results.

AFAIK, the Perrin GT35R will NOT work with a TMIC due to turbo location.

this is a pretty vauge question.

Yes theres GT35 kits out there, but before you just look for the biggest turbo you can shove under your hood, what exactly are your goals with your car?

yeah they look cool when you pop your hood in front of a crowd, but big turbos like the GT30/35 run best on race gas, on pump gas you wont even be in their efficientcy range and it will just be laggy and frustrating to driveon the street if its going to spend its life eating pump gas(guess how I know)

why not start with a 18G, they are cheap($875 new from FP) run off the stock injectors, and if you get a Cobb Accesport they have a map already made for it. that with a turboback would get you about 100hp over stock and would be very responsive and fun on the street and on pum gas. Just my .02 :)
