My PS2 broke a few months back so hopefully the PS3 prices will drop quickly (yeah.. I'm dreaming) since it's supposed to be 100% compatible. Since it's coming out, I can't justify dropping over $100 for another PS2.

i think sony will fix it for you if you give them a call. unless you removed that sticker thing and voided the warranty. i voided my old one and they wouldnt repair it and now i have been stuck without one for over a year now. i just got the urge to play gt4 on my 5.1 home theater setup again.
