Hi all!
My first post - please be gentle.
I just had a EJ20T installed in my 1974 914. Pics attached (hopefully). This looks like THE best forum for any stoopid questions I may have re: ECU tuning etc. Its a basic 914 but with upgraded suspension/brakes/wheels/tires for the way more HP engine. Drove it from Las Vegas to San Jose in 100+ heat and the water temp never exceeded 185-190 on the flats; very impressive! Handles great (of course, after all it is a 914!!
Any recommendations for Subie tuners in the San Francisco bay area other than Vishnu?
Later,
Tom

Thanks for the welcome all! Duh, yeah some engine pics would be nice! Wasn't thinking there!
Yep, I drove it from LV, Renegade Hybrids did the swap and a large assortment of other stuff and did a great job on all. Here's the link to my 914Club blog on the conversion: plenty of pics/info!

my only concern(Im sure everyone here is thinking the same thing) is the lack of air directed across the intercooler, Im sur eyouve seen the huge hood scoops we all have, their not for looks
I think yours would be the perfect candidate for one of these
