I for one really like the 'halo" look and I also think that this is an awsome very inventive idea, however they do look a little unprofesional but I think with some work and careful craftsmenship they could be awsome.

Halos Rock! You could use a bigger resistor and a switch instead of the 9V or you could take a volt meter and find a low level power source under the hood to power them but once again its kinda getto.
