if its an 03, they had clutch and tranny problems. my friend w/ an 03 had her's replaced under warranty. the 03s also had problems with feathering tires.

open up craigslist. type 350z. tell me how many track edition shows up

most folks were cheap and didn't shell out the $ for the track edition.

As chubs22 pointed out, and i'll revise his comment. the 2003-2005 all had notchy trannies and some even grinded when it's cold if you shift fast. Nissan went through 9 revisions for the 6spd tranny. G35's had the same issue too. They finally fixed it in the 9th revision, which is what goes on the 2006 tranny. so i held out as long as i can until it was truly fixed, thus i got it replaced finally.

There is no problem with clutch, they just happen to require replacing it while doing tranny work. and not all Z's had tire feathering issue, only applied to non-track models because the non track models the wheels weigh like 25-30lbs. the track model comes with Ray's Forged wheel and I haven't heard folks with feathering prob, or personally experienced any.

no prob, you only concured that 03-05s had notchy trannies, I guess that was meant to imply yours was an 03, that makes sense I guess. Still dont understand why your so reluctant to disclose what year it was.

Anyways g'luck with the sale!
