I have a set of '04 STi springs for sale. I believe they will fit any year strut...they just need the correct tophats.

you can put them on as long as you have the correct tophats whcih are NOT included. I got the springs/struts from another member but I only needed the struts and the tophats were not included. Some other members might have ectra tophats laying around that they are will to sell for cheap. Otherwise, yes, they can go on the WRX struts with teh correct tophats.

 

what are the correct tophats? i have a set of sti springs i wanted to put on my wrx but didnt know i need to change anything

 

you need the tophats for whatever year the springs are. 04 Springs need 04 tophats...05 springs need 05 tophats. I believe there are aftermarket tophats (also called upper mounts) that will work with a range of different springs. If you are from CA I would suggest contacting Gruppe-S, otherwise contact whatever vendor you trust...they should be able to tell you which aftermarket ones will work (although used stock ones are cheaper of course)

bump, these things are great even on WRX struts. Definitely a firmer ride with less body roll, but not uncomfortable like the complete STi setup
