Try the HKS Super Sequential bov. I have it on my wrx and the sound of it is tight!! I'm not pushing out 300+ hp on my rex, so it's running a bit rich at times with my uppipe, but you shouldn't have any problems w/ you sti since you're pushing 300hp. I suggest you get the HKS. Try getting it at Gruppe-s or MPJ's

do not - I repeat DO NOT - replace your BOV on your STi. It will result in poor performance and sputtering, rough idle. The air in your intake system is metered, and the stock BOV is a recirculating type valve, which means that once the air is metered it stays in the intake system until it is used. This also controls air/fuel ratios. When you use a atmospheric vent BOV (the kind you hear - sounds like rice) you release metered air from the system, and the fuel system continues to provide air for that fuel which is no longer present, hence your poorly running engine.

www.iwsti.com is the most knowledgeable STi forum I have found so far...

hmm I think we should get the admins to make some sort of counter for how many times this has been gone over... at least once every day.
WRX's use a recirculating bov system. If you replace it with a vent to atmosphere system it will sound way cool! But there is a loss of metered air which the computer has provided fuel for. The fuel gets lonely and that is detrimental to performance.

i have a turbo xs rfl bov i will be taking off today and can sell if you would like it. it has the mounting flange and that little plastic block off for the recirculation tube.

the bov sounds cool, but it made my car run like **** since the cars ecu is set to run a diverter valve.
