OK. so we are trying something a little special for this rally. we would like to print "Monte Carlo Style" Rally badges for each of the teams. But we will need to know how many people will be attending. please email your intent to participate to Joe at carzero@aol.com and let us know you are coming.
it will look like this:

with your car/team number in the center white section.
thanks,
marvin :D

Used to run one of these out of Santa Barbara to Las Vegas for years ~ long, long ago! It is great fun and fast fun. It's all about the PACE the times are based on. A good one will set the pace by running quickly (not crazy) in full daylight and you match it in the moonlight...
If I wasn't all the way in Oregon, I'd be joining you! Have fun...

Here is a map to start. The registration and orientation is happening at the Ramada Inn. There are a couple of other places to eat at that exit and at least one or two Gas stations, but they are real expensive. Your best bet is to stop in the town of Lebec (by the Flying J truck stop) and get gas there, its at least $0.40 per gallon cheaper there than at the Grapvine exit.
