Shortblock just came off as I swapped to an ej257. Has 27k miles on it

To the best of my knowledge it is in excellent condition. Made 280whp @18psi a few months ago but I ran it @16psi since. I didn't do a leakdown test, I'm selling this good block for less than the price of a blown block in the hopes of getting rid of it (it's just a 90 pound deadweight in my trunk right now...)

180 bucks? where are you located? i am very interested as long as the block is in good condition. what was the reasoning for swapping out besides upgrade to the ej257? and do you live in san ramon also?

 

well I'm at school right now but I'm your neighbor remember? heh.

There's no reason for swapping out except to upgrade. Why do you need a new block? Thought you were selling your car.

 

a guy had an offer but backed out, so im sick of waiting and i have some other plans. is the block at your house or where u go to school at right now?

 

I'm at Stanford, 40 minutes away. I unfortunately can't come back to SR right now cause I can't drive the car untuned (I'm also missing the entire exhaust lol), I'm free this weekend if you want to come by.

Are you going to build it and put cams or something? If so, you would have a far better deal than me paying 1700 for the shortblock heh...
