Hey there- a buddy of mine has for sale a set of wrx rims in good condition wrapped in bridgestone RE950 tires, which are more expensive ($120+) and MUCH more highly rated than the dreaded RE92s. The tires have 60%-70% tread left and he was looking for $375 picked up in Cloverdale, CA (on 101 north of san fran)- or he could ship them for $475 and also accepts paypal... Prices are firm- I already talked him down to that.

Let me know if anyone is interested, otherwise I'm buying these later this week.(I'm trying to find another buyer because I recently found something more local to me and would rather not put any $$ into shipping charges)- Basically, I have a pending purchase, but was willing to (and would rather) let someone else in on the deal if they would like. It's a great deal picked up if you are within a reasonable driving distance.

Until you show me a better set of wheels/tires for $375 or less, I'm not going to heed your comment...

If you bought a set of wheels w/ worn or bald re92s for ~$200 or less, you'd end up spending much more after replacing the tires w/ something equivalent to these...
