here's the deal. i actually bought a set of 3 second-hand subzeros a year ago (bought a 4th brand new online). unfortunately they were an early production set (the problematic subzero year). apparently rota recalled the rims and replaced them...the previous owner did not do so. i was unaware of the recall at the time of purchase. supposedly the strength/integrity of the recent production of subzeros have highly improved. recently 2 rims have suffered broken spokes. i had bought 2 brand new rims for the car already. the new wheels have only seen about 500 mi of road, literally. i have contacted rota about my broken wheels. they are willing to replace them for free.

after all that trouble... now i just don't want this look on my car anymore haha.

i'll quit babbling... basically this is a relatively brand new set of subzeros (3 of which were produced last year, the new ones) except for 1 single rim, which is in great condition. the tires were bought new. i think $500 sounds pretty damn reasonable. if anyone thinks that the number is too low or too high, let me know.

 

where are u located. im in oakland

 

if the 4th wheel's strengh integrity is in question may i still get them replaced by rota then? also are u willing to go lower like 400 piked up

 

unfortunately i'm in the houston, tx area. to tell you the truth, i am unsure if rota will replace an 'undamaged' rim even though it's from the bad batch. considering that it was recalled, i'm sure they will. but at the moment, all looks good on that 1 lone rim.
