I've taken that road before and it was pretty good I remember.

I live up in the desert (apple valley), so i prolly wouldn't drive down the hill to meet, but where are you headed? i'm not sure about the weather either, might snow up in the mtns (recent forecast says snow line at 7,000 ft.) I usually come up the back way on 173 to lake arrowhead (bumy dirt road, but the suby loves it!) are you going up 138, or coming up out of san berdo?

We planning to run on I-15 north to 138 east, then hwy 18 to Big Bear lake and coming down on hwy 38.
You can wait for us @ I-15 & hwy 138.
