Helping a friend figure out what BOV to buy. I have the SSQV HKS one on my 03 wrx. He loves mine but some people say it doesn't work on a 06 STI because of some piping on the intercooler. Does the HKS work on a 06 STI if not what other ones are great for an 06?

i just put the hks bov on my 06 sti and it works fine. there was some a/c or brakelines in the way but i just took out the two bolts that held them in the way and then ziptied them together good luck.

It will fit but keep it stock unless you upgrade the turbo.

i was using a turbo smart dual port on mine and I had no fitment issues or otherwise . I just upgraded to FMIC and now I'm using the SARD

I put on a used Turbosmart one. It doesn't cause stumbling, but I only had it on for a few days. I guess I just need some minute rice :)

The GFB Stealth fits on the '06 and is easily adjustable from recirculation to full atmospheric venting. You can run it full recirc with your stock engine and then adjust it to vent when/if you upgrade the turbo. Even in full the recirc setting, you can still hear a soft whoosh sound inside the car.
