ok ive gone through about a quart if not a bit more oil within the last 3k. whats teh deal with that. it kinda freaks me out checking the oil and seing there is nothing on the dipstick.
car runs fine.
here are my mods.
uppipe, downpipe, full exhaust
vf-23 turbo. samco hoses. silencer removal.
thats it. stock boost stock ecu. this did not happen untill i put this turbo on.

totally normal...and what are you doing going 3000 miles before cheking your oil anyway Trent!

If it was my car, I would be concerned also. But about any car company will tell you a a quart of oil every 3k is normal :rolleyes:
I'd just continue to check the oil about every 1kand fill it it when need be.

oh you misunderstood me. i check my oil every other day. thats the one thing i dont mess around with and it really freaked me out. i now have a vf30 coming in thanx to alex so i might have to get a catch can soon.

You might be overfilling it. I seen instances where the oil was being sucked up through the valve cover breathers. Its worth a look.:D

lol sorry thats sold.. and the vf-30 should be coming in soon. if alex evah ships them. lol
im pretty sure im not overfilling if i was it would even out and not loose anymore.

Why are you getting rid of the VF23?
and do you have a catch can?

no i do not have a catch can
i have 15k on the motor
Try installing a catch can. They aren't too expensive and it will give you an idea as to if its just oil blow by from the valve covers going into the intake. Burning a 1qt of oil would annoy the hell out of anybody. No car should burn that much oil unless something is wrong.

what kinda oil are you using?....i've tryed lighter weights with the same if not similar results...a heaver weight such as the 5w30 reccomended i keep my oil longer

I know this may be a silly question, but do you use the little gaskets on the oil pan when you change your oil?
