Hi there,

well last piece of my previous setup is now up for sale... An APS DR500 FMIC. I picked this up from Kingpin just before they were discontinued by APS.

It has the usual chips and what not, but nothing earth-moving and is in excellent functional condition. The red crinkle piping was the latest version that did not suffer from flaking off. There are a couple of broken brackets though on the charge pipe from the turbo (thanks to the idiots that serviced the car at the local dealership ), but once the piping is clamped to the rest of the plumbing, this has no effect on performance at all. Once installed, there are no chips or dings to be seen on the red crinkle piping. I still have the broken brackets that I will include for the buyer.. If they wish, they can have them welded or epoxied back into place, but I never found a need to do this... Everything worked just fine without them in place.

Oh, and incase some don't know, the DR500 FMIC comes with a bumper beam. It also DOES NOT require that you lose your fogs either, so those who love their fog lights can rejoice since they can keep that stock look I unfortunately don't have the instruction manual handy, but everything is already preassembled (since it was removed in modular parts as it came off the car), so shouldn't take long or be diffcult an installation on the car.

Not pictured but WILL be included is the APS BOV flange and clamps that comes with the FMIC. This flange allows you to use the stock blow off valve and recirculate it if you wish.

As with my other sales that you may have noticed, these pics were taken as soon as the intercooler came off the car... The parts have not been cleaned up to pretty them up for the photoshoot, so please pardon the lack of cleanliness Be rest-assured that everything is in excellent working order.

This FMIC is perfect for those who don't want to overdo things (i.e. add unnecessary turbo lag with too big an intercooler) with regard to intercooler size. It is plenty big enough for 500 crank horsepower. It is also great for those who want a FMIC, but don't want the world to know that there is one there. Nobody ever know I had one on the car until they noticed that there was no TMIC on the car when they looked though the scoop

For those wondering what intakes would work with this FMIC, I used a Perrin short ram and was very satisfied with fitment and performance.
Looking to get 900 SHIPPED and insured to your door for this, given the oversized and extemely heavyweight nature of the intercooler, bumper beam and piping (hence, shipping will be rather expensive for this).

Reason for selling? My new setup dictated that I go with a much bigger 700whp-capable custom FMIC setup, so don't need a second intercooler taking up valuable room in my apartment

The pics were taken as soon as everything came off the car... They had not at that point been cleaned up yet for their photo shoot, so pardon the lack of cleanliness:o

If there are any particular pics that anyone wants, please let me know, and I can try to get them for you.
