Here are pretty much the basic particulars as they are currently in Japan.
It's not going to be a B4, (we all knew that though)
It's going to the all new redesigned model. It'll have a 2.5-litre single turbo. Much like the new Forester 2.5T, but there seems to be some interesting changes to the intercooler and other areas of the engine. There will be an all-new 5-speed manual and 5-speed tiptronic-style automatic. It will have sharper handling than the B4, with more rubber, better brakes, a quicker, more precise steering rack and revised suspension. It will also be lighter than the current Legacy.

6sp would be nice, but lighter and improved steering, brakes are okay by me. No word yet on Hp figures. I think the guesstimate will probably be 250-260 right now for USspec. models. But comeone, how easy will that be to bump up?
