Question Yokohama ES100 in snow?

Anyone ever used their ES100 on the snow?
I was trying to do some research about this but no luck on the snow rating.
All inputs are welcome.
TIA!

still wondering how these tires would react on snow.
I think its fun to drive, but i will be driving with my family so i don't think its a good idea to make some experimental driving on my way up there.
Thanks for the input!

I've done it before. If you take your time and drive slow and react normally you will be fine. But if something happens, those tires will not save you from hitting something. If you go up there with them, be extremely careful.

i think really.... any tire on a awd or 4wd car is fine as long as ur on the road and not on ice, because the main roads is more wet then snowy or icy. but once theres ice, i don't think any tire can save u, unless ur runing spikes... but thats me so don't flame me

That's pretty accurate. Except the slush and brakes acting up. You can't forget to factor in the slush. If you don't have tires with a deep grove, like a lot of summer tires, the slush will cause some adverse reactions. Snow tires are made to cut through that crap. But if the snow is just snow covered, that is always the better bet.

these tires like any other tire ment for summer driving......like my RE070's have a soft compound and will freeze up in the snow. Get hard. Crappy traction. but like justin said. Stay alert, drive smart and easy and you'll be ok. Try to speed up or brake to hard and you're done. These tires WILL NOT HELP YOU OUT.

I drove my civic with these tires (no chains) through 6 inches or so of snow and did just fine. But I wouldn't advise this....

Really man I wouldn't risk it. Slap your winter tires on and don't be lazy. You're talking about your life and your passenger lives at risk here, plus other drivers around you.

But i do get the point. "do not risk it"...

I wouldnt do it. Just buy some stock wheels and tires, you can find them for like $200-$250 used all the time.
