My sister is in a need of a car. I told her that a Legacy Wagon will be great for what she asked about. But I need to know if there are anything special that I need to know. Like what did you pay out the door. anything special model that I should get.

She's not really into leather! but stuff like sun roof CD player would be nice. She'll be using the car to travel to and from work, acasionally take the dog (akita) out to a park or haul a painting (roof rack).

So if anyone can shed some light onto this subject this would be great.

Thanks

2003 or if they still have 2002

and price range would be somewhere in the $300 per month payments... I guess that doesn't really help... I guess 25k

not sure I asked her the same question and she told me that $300 per month bs... so I guess its 25k

Check out the 2003 Special Edition Legacys. These are well loaded with CD player, sunroof(s) and all the goodies:D .
Sticker is about 21,000-23,000. A friend of mine picked one up for about 19,800 and loves it. They are available in Sedans and wagons.

Look for a used one with an H6 3.0 motor. I would bet that you could find a really nice one at a comparable price.
