how hard will it be if I want to remove them later. How much work will it be, and will it mess up the paint.

It isn't to hard to remove. There is a little work to it but it can be done without damage to your paint. There are some products we carry you can buy or any kind of adhesive remover like goo (I think that is what it is called from your local hardware store)
