RS-T. blow off valve makes car bogg when its hooked up

Like it says I have a 2.5L engine that I turbo charged. It has a TD04 turbo. WRX intercooler and blow off valve. When I try to hook up the blow off valve to my intake manifold. (the little nipple thing that sticks out the side) It makes the car start to bog and eventually die within a matter of seconds. Any one ever heard of this? The car runs fine when its not hooked up to anything? ANY IDEAS? Thanks!

Are you saying you have an atmospheric BOV that your trying to plum back into your intake box?

Ive never heard of anyone attaching a BOV to the intake manifold.

I have heard of cars that have a MAF sensor rather then measuring air only from MAP have trouble with BOVs that vent to atmosphere becuase you are allowing air that has already been measured to vent out of the sensor loop. This causes a rich situation for a brief second indicated by a bog but is barely noticed.

no. not the piece that hooks back into the intake its a little 1/2" nipple looking tip that comes out of the bov. Its supposed to be hooked into the intake manifold (for vacume i believe) The car runs fine with out it but it doesnt release the pressure properly. Only blows (releases pressure) when shifting at redline or almost redline. 5-6200k rpm's.
