Could you post some non-closeup pics of a white STi with the roof spoiler in all carbon? Like shots of the whole car from various angles? Thanks!

I am curious about the wieght of the assembly. Is there any actual advantage over the 06 stock peice?

there is a huge different in weight. The original piece is about at 10~15 lbs since it's make out of steel. The CF piece is only about 2~3 lbs.

pointless.......
Removing 10-15 lbs of weight (if the claim is true) from the highest point of the car is generally HUGE. That said, you might not notice a difference on the street.

Why the need for R&D? Sure, you will need to drill 2 holes per side, but why would the installation be any different? The mounting location, and sedan aft section (roofline) contour is almost identical to the 02-03, right?

I'm also not sure I understand the need for a one-piece unit.

Has anyone installed the stock unit on an 02-03 sedan?

RavSpec

Beck:

the stock unit comes in 5 pieces, two base, 1 x mid deck and 2 pieces side cover. To integrate all of them into 1 piece need R&D ...
