It was a parked car. I'm not actually sure of the full story, he hasn't told me it yet. But from what he has said, he went to make a left turn onto 25th ave to fast, my guess it started to understeer, he lifted, and it went into massive oversteer he wasn't expecting and he slid into the other car. (One note, the tires were going out and were going to be replaced this saturday) (I also warned him about the tires, and driving like an asshat in the car).
A subaru...understeering?? I think your bro is lying to you man.
Sorry that happened....look at the bright side, at least it's not totaled and you don't EVER have to let him drive ANY of your cars for as long as you live.
I had someone total my car....yyeeahhhhh

I don't think he is lying to me, this is mosly what I pieced together, remember I did say I don't know the full story yet.
The front tires were also in much worse shape than the rears.

I was kiddn' about him lyin' to you. the understeer in the subar will freak nyone out that doesn't know what it feels like and what to do in an understeer situation....didn't help he didn't have bad tires either.
Hope he learned his lesson. Perhaps, he'll stop driving like a maniac in the future. May be, this actually saved his life - because this just might give him a second thought when he gets another urge to commit a such foolish act on street. And next time doesn't guarantee that he will be driving a well engineered Subaru like yours - since he probably can't afford it due to his younger age? I guess this is the best perspective or lesson out of this ugly situation of yours. Be cool!
