I am considering the pully found here http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=233
but I am curious to the advantage/disadvantage to a single crank pully compared to the 3 pully sets I have seen in the past. Just want to make sure I don't miss out on a little extra power!

A little is all there is. Pulleys are a VERY incremental increase in power. Thir benefit is really just addition by subtraction of rotating mass. You can get slightly (3-5) higher horsepower on a dyno, but it's low BFT$. But, it's not all that expensive and will do you some good, even if it won't make you noticeably faster. It's one of those things that helps add up with other things, but is all but useless by itself.

I had a single under drive pulley on my Dak R/T. BAN SUVS is right, no big deal in terms of say 1/4 mile. Engine seemed to rev quicker. But by itself, you won't be shaving time off. Then again, several little tweaks here and there will add up.

I have yet to hear about an idling prob with a lightened flywheel and pulley. Not saying there may not be one, I just have yet to hear about it. I'll search some car boards and see if I come up with anything.

No idling problems here. Just dimming of the lights that's about it.
Drives and idles just fine, Unorthodox Racing underpulley here.

With both pulley and flywheel, I had to relearn how to take off from a stop again.:D Idle is a little low also.

Lightening the pulley and flywheel together will make is easier to stall or "lurch" the car when upshifting. This is because the inertia of the rotating assembly is less able to cause the clutch plate to slip a little while the flywheel and pressure plates match speeds. It's also why the power of the combustion can spin it faster, making it more responsive. It's just another tradeoff for performance, like getting a harsher ride with coilovers in exchange for 70+ slalom speeds.
