I was wondering if the '04 STi downpipe, mid pipe, and muffler is a direct bolt-on for my '04 WRX. Not too sure if I want to run, so I was just gonna give it to my little bro who was a '04 RS. Will it direct bolt-on on my bro's car? Who has done this setup for their '04 WRX.... DOES it make a difference!

 

the sti and wrx have the same sh!tty @ss downpipes, so yes the sti dp will fit on your wrx but don't do it since its the same thing. just stick w/ getting an aftermarket downpipe and bolt it to the stock sti exhaust. oh and your bro's rs is not turbo, so none will fit on his car.

 

It will work on a WRX and you might be able to use the axle back on the RS. DP won't be of much use, RS has no turbo so no DP and that would or might make the cat back different which I am pretty sure they are different. But yes direct bolt on for a 02-05 WRX and probably 06 too.

 

I don't think the axle back portion would be good on your bro's car...he might lose power due to the fact that it may be too wide of a diameter for a NA car.

But, if it's just for looks I say why not give it a go.
