I've been searching in the the "Other" forums for a picture of the best location to get the oil feed from.

Some people say using a "T" off the oil pressure sender is the way to go, and others say that the plug on the LHS of the throttle body is the best place to get oil feed from.

2 Questions:

1) Which one is better, LHS throttle body or T off oil sender.
(Better, I mean, the best place to rob oil from the engine to re-direct to the turbo without robbing pressure from other vital engine components like, crank bearings, cam bearings etc.)

2) Where does the stock WRX get it's oil feed from?

You may want to use an oil block adapter. You simply remove the oil filter and screw the adapter into the block. Then you just screw oil filter into the adapter.

The benefit of the adapter is that it already has threaded holes in it for an oil feed line, oil pressure, and or an oil temp guage. You can have all the fitting made without your car being "down".


I use the Greddy adapter. If you choose this method, a Honda aplication will work fine.

i would t off of the pressure sensor.

Sorry to be a stick in the mud, but I'm sure you understand. Cascade failures of other components is what I'm trying to avoid.

Any benefits or differences between the following feed locations:

Oil Sender "T"

LHS of Throttle body plug

Oil filter adapter

What are the pro's and cons?

if you put that oil feet where the plug is you should be fine. i would put it there
