just looking for a way to get an aftermarket sub under my seat w/o going with a custom setup
with the way that sub looks, probably firing up, don't want a trunk setup b/c of space issues.

thanks for the info... honestly ive heard lots of good regarding this model... its preferred over its competitors... check out the reviews section, there may be some reviews on it... if not, just re3ad some online reviews in general... Its the same one i want, so ive done my research

it's a decent sub for it's size and price (froogle!). push it too much and it will distort, it's not meant for booming bass. i've heard it and it's good a full sound, i think it will sound good in the impreza. the dimensions look like it will barely fit under my 05 seats. looks like i'll just order it and be the guinea pig, i'll update after :)

I have one mounted under the passenger seat of my 04' wrx. Quite honestly, im impressed with its sounds. Just don't be expecting the sounds of an enclosed 12" sub and you'll be happy. Its probably more comparable to 2 nice sounding amped 6x9's.

did it barely clear under the seat? are you able to move the seat around freely, does it stick out in the back?

It clears the seat just fine. No problems with shifting the passenger seat back and forth. It does stick out just a tad, but nothing obstructive for the passengers in the back seat. I have a floormat that covers the part sticking out. Again, nothing obstructive, most people dont even notice.

Oh yea, Group B, the clarion powered sub sucks ass. I did quite a bit of research before i chose the SW1.
