(EDIT SOLD) FS: 97 JDM Honda Integra Type R Turbo REAL RHD IMPORT

Listing this for a friend:

1997 JDM RHD Honda Integra Type R Turbo - CA Registered and SMOGGED

Up for sale is a very very rare car that has been imported from Japan and registered through the CA DMV. The process is not known, it was purchased this way.

This car has never been driven. It has less than 1000 miles since purchased from importer. It is mainly a show car that has race parts.

All modifications were done IN JAPAN and the car was imported AS IS.
-Clean Title
-17K Miles (converted from Kilometers)
-Extremely good condition
-Registered and SMOGGED, registration paid for until 09/06
-Ready for sale
-ALWAYS GARAGED OF COURSE

<p>Parts:
-Blitz K26 Top Fuel Turbo kit
-Blitz Intercooler
-Blitz External Wastegate
-Fully built race prepped motor with JUN race cams and internals (built from Japan)
-SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator
-Mazda FD3S 550cc injectors
-OS Giken Multiplate clutch
-Quaiffe LSD
-4.4 Final Drive
-98spec JDM ITR 5 lug conversion with 16" OEM JDM ITR wheels
-Apexi Power FC

-Tein Type HA custom valved and spring rates for track use
-Mugen front and rear 26mm sway bars
-Cusco front bar, Vision rear bar

This car has been very special to me. The reason it is up for sale is because I can use the money to invest in some real estate. If you know your import cars then you know that this car is greatly appreciated among Honda enthusiasts.

Car is sold AS IS. Buyer is responsible for next SMOG after sale is complete.

$25,000 Price is Negotiable for SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY
NO LOWBALLERS/QUESTIONS REGARDING LEGALIZATION PROCESS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED

Cool car, but "QUESTIONS REGARDING LEGALIZATION PROCESS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED" sounds kinda shady. Like "Here, try this new drug. Yeah, usually its not legal but I did something special to it so that its legal this time. No, I can't tell you how I made it legal. And by the way, if you get caught with it, its all on you, but it's legal, I swear." If you post the VIn number on that replacement tag, maybe I'll believe you.

Then again, I'm not going to buy the car, so you can just ignore me I guess.

Well, if a buyer was serious, he/she would come take a look at the car. They will see it. The VIN is the original 10 digit VIN from Japan - the same # registered through the DMV and on the pink slip. No VIN swap, no "conversion". The message is mainly to deter the 100s of people who will e-mail to ask about how to register a imported car... we don't know how it was done!

This one of those rare cars that if you like Hondas - this is one of the few brought over to the USA plus its streetable and damn fast! The Japanese tuners definitely know how to build a car.

It has been shown many times at JDM Theory shows in Northern California and brought down to LA for the Nisei Week car show as well.

Digging around pics, here's the car when we trailered it down for the Nisei Week car show in Los Angeles.

The way the car is set up, the original Japanese owner built the car for track use or a fast street sleeper. Top Fuel rates the turbo kit up to 360HP for a bolt-on application. With the built motor the car probably has well over 300WHP in a 2500 lb. car.

The suspension is track ready and super stiff. Turbo spools fast and linear power throughout the powerband. The custom 3" stainless exhaust has to be seen... incredible worksmanship and welds in a one-off make piece - it's section welded, not bent. If you know welding, you know this requires some major time to do. The engine roar and external wastegate sounds like something from a Japanese Hot Version video. That ain't no BOV!

Eh.. this question is rather out there. The answer should be obvious.

The buyer should have someone who can do their smog. The initial smog to sell the car will be done, it is up to the buyer 2 years down the road when it needs smog again. This is a grey market car with race parts, go figure.
