Here for sale is a 2001 Blue Ridge Pearl 2.5 RS Coupe
-95,xxx miles
-very nice stereo system with the factory subwoofer. The stereo sounds really good! It is a pioneer premier DEH-P640 cd player. I don't know if the speakers are stock are not but they sound a hell of a lot better than the stock stereo in my 98 RS.
-cruise control
-arm rest extenion
Here's the story with the car:
My friend's neighbor had this car and her son drove it for a while. He didn't take very good care of it. He drove the car without oil (supposedly) and now the motor is shot. I didn't take it apart to find out. I was going to use it as a project car to put a WRX motor in to but I just don't have the time or money to do it right now. From what she told us, the car never had any problems until the son got his hands on it for a few weeks. As far as I can tell, the transmission, suspension, brakes, etc all seem fine. I would think that the only problem would be with the motor. The interior has a lot of stains in it, but I think if you had a good shampooer, the stains might come out. Outside the car has some dings from sitting in the parking lot of the garage that they took it to when the motor died. This car is by no means perfect, but it would be a nice platform for a swap or just to put a motor in to have a reliable daily driver. With a good cleaning and waxing job, this car would look a lot better. I looked up the book value on the car and it ranges anywhere from $8000 to 11,000 in running condition.

STI swap? Man, that's what I'd love to do. Maybe one day when I get some time. Do you have a source for the motors, tranny, diff's etc for an STI swap?
