Can i-Club members and NASOIC members exist in harmony? (uuummmm) Well I believe we are one and often the same. (uuummmm) My hypothesis could be tested on April 12th up here at Flatirons Subaru in Boulder because we are having a Subaru Meet (Yeah!..uuummmm). It should be a perfect way for the members of both to come together to resolve our club differences as one (uuummmm). Also, many nice cars and good food (free) (uuuummmmm).
If I could get an idea of how many i-Club people (i-Club animals are welcome too) will be in attendance, so that I can get a rough idea.

i just bought a 1970 Camaro SS instead of buying a '94 subaru touring wagon. The Camaro is not a piece(but it is in black primer).
When i am done with it i am going to get an RS and turbocharge it. i would still like to see these subarus you all are talking about.
i am still an enthusiast. can i come?

From Salt Lake City(just guessing you live there) to Boulder is about a six to eight hour drive depending on how you drive if you take I-80 to I-25.

I'll post again since it was erased,
Thank you everyone who attended. The meet went really well and I wanted to congratulate Todd on his win at the car show. All the cars looked incredible and it was good to have the Subie Community off the chain in family support.

I am / was officially a redneck for the day and we went to Bandimere on Sunday. I proceeded to burn my front and back but I can only feel it when I do anything...
Harvey's 12.88@111mph in his WRX wagon was well worth it all!!!
By the way, I got some new fitting instructions for the MRT fuel rails if you want to come by and pick a copy up.

The meet was so great. Used up a disposable camera, got some sweet pics. Troy, who's the owner of the GC8 black Impreza RS? The one with the roof scoop, roll cage and Sparco seats. I thought it was you? Do you know what is next in line for mods on that car? Does it have any engine mods on it? I know there was one guy there talking about a 650 hp engine?? How's that possible? I'd have to say that's my fave car, since I have a black '01 RS myself and have wanted to "STi" it out about the same way-keeping the exterior mods fairly discrete but looking sharper than a butcher's knife!!

regg01,
The owner of the Black GC is Bret (SubeTek). It is getting a sick Stroker 2.4L shortly and should be well into the 500hp range possibly 600. I agree that car is the best built, best sorted, and most thought out of any Subaru that I know of. Unfortunately the guy who took pics from here is off for another week, but you can see some over here http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=23990
It will be the fastest GC in the state if not the nation, bar none!
Oh and yes Harvey's time was on his 50 shot of NOS

Nice! I was wondering, how exactly did Bret get the paint job done on the side skirts to match the car(GC Impreza RS), I've been wondering if it was possible to do ever since I bought my car 2 years ago...was it professionally done? I've heard of some pros refusing to paint the skirts because the paint would flake off or something. Since it is possible, do you know how much is it to paint them? (I am making a budget for possible mods on my RS this summer:) ) Are there currently any engine/performance mods on it?

Please excuse my ignorance...but what is a "GC" model?
Is it imported from Asia?
WOW! that Black (GC) RS is SWWWEEEET!!
What year is that?

Hi,
regg01,
Sorry for the delay... I'm dealing with an infection (not the STD type) so I have been tired alot.
Bret had his side skirts resprayed with the car in pure black by a place called Exotic Bodies by Jim in Lafayette. It just takes a good prep job and the urethane (flex) additives in order remain pliable for the part. A "rock guard" paint would be good too, although I'm not sure if they use this anymore. As far as the cost just give them a call for an estimate. His performance mods are cat-back SPT system, lightweight pulley and Exedy Flywheel... for the moment.
revit,
The GC is the body designation for the first generation Impreza (93-01) Coupe and Sedan and the GF is the Wagon (5-door) All Imprezas and Foresters are assembled in Japan and then shipped Globally. The Legacy is the only model that is built here in Indiana that is sold here. Bret's Black RS is a 99.
