F no it's not premature.
i would say it would be a disappointment if they dont make it to the playoffs.
coming off a big win over the top eastern conf team is something they couldnt do before.
now, they are winning and beating teams tey SHOULD beat.
start a road trip with chicago. that should be a good start.
i believe they match with dallas better than sac or lakers. i also like them with san ant.

It's not about St. Jean.
I used to like the warriors until Chris Cohan bought the team.
Rowell already said they would pay Arenas.
They will need to trade/give away Fortson, Mills, and Dampier or Foyle.
If the Warriors don't re-sign their young talent, then Cohan should be forced to sell the team.

IMHO
i'd keep foyle.
at this point they have enough scorers and his hussle in the defensive i think is worth more to the warriors than damps offensive contribution

fo sho. Foyle they definately need to keep. they should have traded fortson for draft picks or something. does he become a free agent after this season? or is he still under contract?

Arenas is the engine of this team. When he brings his A game, the team wins. He will be a free agent after this season, and it will be tough for the warriors to sign him because the Warriors have to match what other teams offer him. And I am sure he will demand a lot due to the fact that he thinks he should have been a 1st rounder!
Good luck!
ps IMHO, he's way talented than J-Rich..

Danny Fortson is such a piece of isht, yeah he can rebound, but he's short for a 4 and he can't shoot or post-up.
Mills is an overpaid, non-athletic shooter, who is paid to be a starter while he comes off the bench.
Sura can be kept around for a while, he provides a spark defensively, as predictable as he is on offense.
MUST keep for 2003-2004:
arenas
richardson
boykins
sura
jamison
foyle
murphy
CAN keep:
dunleavy
mills
trade for $$$$ or picks or people:
dampier
mills <- repeat
welsh
MUST let go somehow:
fortson: he was great when no one was rebounding, but since foyle and murphy is doing that now...
trade for JASON KIDD:
foyle & dunleavy & $$$$
foyle & arenas
NEED for 2003-2004
big *** strong CENTER draft
arenas
