Alright guys, I need a little information from those of you who recently purchased a WRX.

I haven't been to the dealer yet, but I had someone get some information for me about a 2005 WRX sedan that was barebones for $25,000. The dealer was talking about another $2,000 for options like the sunroof. I know those prices are out of his skull and without any negiotation whatsoever, so I need to know what you guys purchased your cars for and for how much.

I'll probably end up leasing the vehicle, but I want to negiotate on the price as if I were buying the car straight out. I believe I've seen people get '05 left overs for less than $22,000.

I just need to know;

Where you live.
What options the car was equipt with.
Final price.
How long ago the car was purchased/was it a left over.
Any other information you can provide that may be of use.

+1 on the info please!! After looking at the dealerships, like subaru livermore, and diablo, they're hasn't been any wrx's (2005) on the lot, nor shown in their inventory online. wherrrrre can we go about getting hte wrx leftovers =/..

 

I just ordered my 2006 wrx wagon a few weeks ago. Paid 23,000 OTD. They also had a red wrx wagon for about 21,000 (all standard I believe). The dealership (Bay Ridge Subaru) is in Brooklyn, NY. Hope this helps.

 

The red wrx wagon is a 2005 model by the way.

There's about a few wagons and one silver WRX left at Ron Price in SSF.

Also, there's one 05 WRX WRB wingless, some RS's, and a WRB WRX Wagon at Carlsen in Redwood City.

 

is it possible that all the 05's will not b made anymore and cant be made when all of them are done being sold. or is it possible that we can have it shipped to us from elsewhere dealership etc.. newbie question???

just out of curiosity b/c every dealership inventory i've seen online..there is NO MORE FRIGGEN 05'S AHHHHHHHH

 

Live in southern CA, purchased new wrb 05 wrx for 21k base model (no auto rear view mirror, rear spoiler) before tax in April. The car was an advertisement teaser (to get people to come in and check things out).

i got mine last september, for 24,500. there was another dealer selling for 23,500. the wagon is alot cheaper if u dont midn it.

I was int he market for a 2005 roughly a month ago before I decided to get the 06...

I killed the dealer with prices, and heres what i got....

CGM 5spd w/armrest extension.......17,850

black 5spd w/premium package........19,650

If you cant get it for at least around this price, then work on your negotiating skills.......make them give you invoice, and then use other sites that advertise low priced 05's to haggle even more.....I could have had my 05 for an incredible deal regardless of model.

 

Whoaaaa! What a deng deal!that s like tha price of a freakin rs. Where r u from and what dealer did u get these prices from. Also, how long ago was this. I'm rilly planning on buying an 05 wrx soon ahhhhhhh.I wonder wut things u asked n said to lower the price so much, u jus got good negotiation skills lol.

 

How did you manage these prices? Where are you located?
