well my car is finally gets picked up tomorow. I can't wait to finally get to drive around. Do you guys know if the cops will give me any problems for driving aroung with out of state tags for a week or two. Another thing is I was wonderin if there are any performance shop here on Oahu that sells JDM parts. I am tryng to get JDM hid headlights and some sti V7 rims. Thanks for any input.

 

If im not mistaken i think you have 30 days to get tags, but then I think its like every state, if your tags are kept up to date you can have whatever tags you want, I could be wrong though.

Yeah Bobby is right about the tabs, but with all the military guys on oahu I wouldn't be too worried about your tabs. Just don't drive like an idiot to draw attention to yourself. Or if you have exhaust stay out of Waikiki until you are fully legal.

As long as your out-of-state tags are still current, you can keep them on until they expire. You're supposed to get an out-of-state permit, which is BS, but whatevah!

i think all u need is a hawaii state inspection sticker, i think thats it...could be wrong. that could just be for the military....
