what is the tranny fluid "cocktail"?

I forgot what the tranny fluid cocktail is?

I know the Pennzoil Synchromesh part and thenn???

- GM synchromesh (penzoil brand ok)
- Redline synchromesh, lightweight
- 75w90 Castrol HypoyC gear lube.

1qt GM syncomesh, 1qt redline lightweight shockproof and the rest 75w90 Hypoy-C

and can I use 75w90 valvoline instead????

I did what Jay784 said but with the Valvoline. On the next change it will be exactly the same except Mobil 1 instead of Valvoline.

For a WRX MT-5 AWD 3.7 QU.
Of Penziol synthetic With 3 oz of the GM LSD additive!!

For STI MT-6 AWD 4.3 QU.
Of Penziol synthetic With 4 oz of the GM LSD additive!!

Is the GM LSD addative the Syncromesh? I've never heard this refered to as LSD addative.

Yes I sure did... hehe. Its not really an additive, its a gear oil, that has additives in it.
