FS: Espelir JGT 500 cat-back exhaust (02-05 WRX/STi), Loc: OC/LA, CA
Hi all,
I have a barely used Espelir JGT 500 cat-back exhaust system for sale. It was just installed on my 2005 WRX STi on 8/6/05. Although it's a little too loud for me (and I don't want to run w/ the silencer), I love it, and hate to part ways with it. My friends also really like it and say that if they ever get a WRX/STi, that's the exhaust they'd want.
It has a very deep rumble and makes your car sound like a V8/Harley. It sounds beautiful, it's built very well, and fitment is perfect.
Comes with everything except the packaging (the box doesn't fit in the trunk of a WRX/STi).
This includes:
muffler section
midpipe
downpipe/midpipe adapter
silencer
silencer removal tool
silencer securing bolt + nut
joint hardware (4 bolts + nuts)
2 gaskets
documentation from Mackin/Espelir

I'm in the OC/LA area of California. Don't want to ship it, since I don't have the packaging anymore. Pick-up would be best (Fountain Valley), but I can deliver it to you within a reasonable distance.

As an update, here is a link to pictures of the uninstalled Espelir JGT 500 cat-back exhaust that's for sale:

As you can see, it's in tip-top shape, and as I said, it's practically brand-new. I cleaned and chrome polished the entire unit after uninstalling it, and it is now wrapped in the protective plastic wrap it came in.
If you pick it up, I'll knock another $10 off the price to help offset the cost of gas. Thanks again!

The downpipe adapter allows it to connect to stock length downpipe setups?
Also any sound clips? I don't mind loud exhausts at all
But want to get an idea of the tone.

Forgot to respond to your other questions! Unfortunately, I don't have a sound clip (and the ones on the net don't do it justice), but it's very deep, aggressive, and pretty loud. It's not as loud as the HKS Hi-Power/Carbon-Ti or Blitz Nur-Spec, but it's not quiet like the Greddy Evo2 or Borla Hush. It's in the middle, but definitely leans toward the HKS/Blitz side. It'll put a smile on your face every time you fire it up and rev the motor.
And yes, it'll mate up to the stock DP or any aftermarket DP meant to connect to the stock midpipe.
