WEAPON*R Engine Damper mounts in between your vehicle's engine block and firewall to effectively control horsepower and torque. Keep your motor supported as you slam through those gears while adding a nice show piece under the hood. Creates less stress to engine mounts, giving you more power to the wheel!

Right well why would we need this engine dampner when the entire design of the EJ series engine prevents the car block from moving too much. Plus what good is the dampner going to do if it is connected to the fender? There is not any great strength there. If it was on the strut tower it might make sence. EVO's might need this, I really don't think we do.

Edit: Ooo, I see there is a long strip of metal that goes along the fender wall. This will distribiute the force from the dampner, and make the whole set-up much stonger. I am warming up to this a little more, but I still don't think the Impreza needs it.

You should make some more stuff for subies.

It works good. I test fitted one and it works. Even without stiffer engine mounts, the engine does not wable around like it does on a stock car. Together with the STi mounts, it would work even better.

Yeah you should definitely do more fab work for subbies... like ti header (like the Evo one)... that would be pimp!! Nice work tho.

I thought the engine damper goes where the pitch mount is located... maybe i'm wrong... but I'm interested...
