fstbluewrx 02-27-2003, 04:43 PM anybody out there? an answer??
beaverboy 03-02-2003, 02:00 PM This is a road racing forum.. not street racing.
If your car is stock, his is modded, then you'd need to be a better driver than he is to "win". Why this is your concern is beyond me. Maybe your homies will think you're not cool any more if you can't "beat" a modded car.. who knows. If that's the case you should seek out some real friends. All I'm really trying to say is.. noone cares.
fstbluewrx 03-02-2003, 04:44 PM you have to keep your bull**** to yourself. you seem like a real ass to me with all your stupid comments. sorry again beaver ***
GarySheehan 03-02-2003, 07:22 PM fstbluewrx,
You're in the wrong forum. Take your street racing posts somewhere else. No one in this forum is interested in illegal street racing.
Clubwrx.net has a forum for this specifically at http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=11

beaverboy 03-03-2003, 06:41 AM I like to think I bring out the best in people. :D
fstbluewrx 03-03-2003, 05:36 PM all i asked is a simple question and you guys had to be idiots about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
beaverboy 03-04-2003, 05:59 AM Grow up. The point we're trying to make clear to you is that You're the idiot who's interested in endangering innocent people's lives. Race on a track, that's what they're for.
GarySheehan 03-04-2003, 10:19 AM Beaver,
You can't preach to people that street race. They are not interested in what you have to say and will not learn from logical arguments, let alone insults. They will eventually grow out of it. Hopefully without killing anyone on the way.
fstbluewrx,
You are looking for abuse to come in here posting about street racing. Many people HATE what you are doing and will not hesitate to tell you what they think about you for it. You will find no sympathy here. You are in the wrong forum. Take it to http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=11 and stop trying to justify yourself in this forum.

beaverboy 03-04-2003, 10:36 AM Gary, point taken about the insults. I come on way too strong at times. You're right about the mentality. If someone had told me I'm an idiot for X reason after asking a question I would probalby get upset... but somewhere down the road I would consider it advice. But I'm probably a little more sensitive to input than many folks are. Again, you point is well taken, and I appreciate your input.
2k1neon 03-08-2003, 04:09 AM id have to side with fstblue on this i also think you all jumped the gun how do you know he wasnt talking about going to the track and racing, which would make it a legal racei agree i think street racing is stupid and immature and it puts others lives at risk for cheap thrills but come on lighten up whatever happened to imagination what if i was to say i know this guy with a stock wrx over i DC (keep in mind i live in ks) and i was just curious what you guys thought if i could beat him when i have a sohc atx peon with a bunch of mods ...who would win ..... the fact being i would actually never race him but i just wanted an opinion.................lighten up.
Sundance45 03-10-2003, 06:53 AM I have a modded 2000 RS and it really runs strong. When on the road, whether street or highway there are always the ricers out with their grapefruit shooters trying to try you on. Even if I was inclined to take them on, what would be the point? Most of these guys can't drive, with cars that don't go and immature enough to wear their egos on a win or loss, which makes them extremely dangerous. Lighten up, I don't think so, get them off the street.
beaverboy 03-10-2003, 08:04 AM the fact being i would actually never race him but i just wanted an opinion You're right. I should have pointed him to the lounge before telling him off :D If he was really going to a track, he would have told us what kind of experience he has.. because every track driver knows it's not what you drive, but how you drive what you drive that makes you fast. That goes for road course, oval or drag strip.
GarySheehan 03-10-2003, 09:10 AM It really doesn't matter what the intention was. It's the same as coming in here and asking what your favorite kind of donut is. IT'S THE WRONG FORUM. Take it where it belongs.

Didn't say anything about street racing. I assume you guys are going to race at the race track. He may have an edge on you if he and you where to be equal drivers.
Road course, it depends who's has the better tires/suspension setup.

kalasend 03-28-2003, 05:07 PM Speaking of street racing endangering innocent people's lives...I think it's more of endangering the lives of racers themselves.
Think about it, if you race your pals on the streets, you guys are the ones who are driving fast and are likely the most mentally awaking ones on the road at that moment. But others are not.
I had occassionally come across two or three cars chasing each other at 90-100 mph on freeways at some slight 9-to-10pm-ish traffics. And I always wonder do they take into considerations times like when a grandma was driving and she doesn't notice there are cars coming from behind and she just cut off all possible paths in front of you....
beaverboy 03-28-2003, 05:17 PM So when you rear-end granny, because you were driving too fast for the conditions, and send her careening into a tree.. I suppose you didn't risk her life?
Don't be a moron. The reason you can drive at top speed on the autobahn is because the other drivers know to stay to the right lane.. They've been trained how to drive when there are vehicles closing down on them in the tripple digits.. They know how to look for you. Very very few of the rest of the world's drivers know what to do. Driving that fast on roads with people who aren't mentally alert should be your first sign to slow down.

beaverboy 03-28-2003, 05:31 PM Umm.. noone said I was talking about you.. I was just commenting about the standpoint you were representing... Sheesh.. someone put some shoes on.. I'm tired of stepping on toes.
